At the suggestion of @timsk, I am posting a "new, completely fresh" trade posting thread. Hopefully, people will stop dick measuring and just post trades without the bickering about definitions. Do not criticize someone else unless you are willing to put up a trade, otherwise keep your mouth shut.

yes..but also a part of trading..for..no matter how good you get..you will have losers..part of the business

i am in the red now..but not an actual loss until i close the trades..or they expire worthless

It seems as though losers are viewed like the black plague around here.

They definitely are an unavoidable part of the business.

It is funny. Forexmospherian's trading journal is locked so that most people cannot post. He says "they don't think anyone trades here I reckon". That is exactly what I think. He certainly has a lot of fancy charts though.

They refuse to post anything resembling a trade confirmation like what you have been posting.

i am well used to risking money..losing $1k does not bother me if i know it might make a profit of $1k..or a bit more

currently down $519..plus i have 10 DNR calls that are worth nothing..but..i am still well within my $1.5k max drawdown..so might chance another 1 or 2..will see what develops tween now and close..still on mobile though..but have to make do with it now

I know what you mean. I am still down on my AIG position @62.54.

here is my summary for today..ignore fx trades..just releasing some cash from a hedge i have on..i had to stop anyway..my battery is getting low

It is currently down $150. It is no big deal to me. I am happy to wait. I have confidence it will rebound. It is not the only trade I am sitting on.

I have never had any drawdowns that large before. I never expose 100% of my portfolio at one time. The biggest that I had was a $3,000 drawdown. That was in 2014.
