Hi all.

My old stack just gave up on me.

Have no idea what to go for now- need one that:

1. Can handle being in a cupboard with limited airflow
2. Is super quiet
3. Is fast with a good graphics card for a bit of gaming
4. Able to have 2 monitors

Can pay up to about £600...

Thoughts much appreciated guys!

Ha thx for the reply DT.

No I will not be in cupboard as well- is more of a cabinet...

No idea to be honest, although cooling is quite an art.

Whatever you do - don't place it on the floor - it needs to be raised a few inches above.

If you put it on the floor the dust from the floor will be sucked into the PC.

I ended up having one built for me.

Just another note...If you have carpeting make sure your computer is at least 6 inches above it. Static charge from the carpet can put your PC out of commission.

Cooling shouldn't be an issue. But if it is you can place a small fan there for air flow.
Most any new PC should support 2 monitors these days. Don't hesitate to ask the salesperson though. They might be able to recommend a different graphics/monitor card for your particular purchase.

Loads of RAM memory is what you need especially for gaming. Get the max your PC will hold. If you're a bit techy install it yourself and save $$.

Good Luck!

I could increase the budget if water cooling is worth it..

Or are all modern PCs ok in tight spaces now?

Need a bit of real advice please fellas! Hopefully will order on eBay today..

If its kept in a cabinet is the front of the pc covered as well? As you can get a pc with a fan that sucks the air for the front it's a simple job to add this to a pc yourself if the chasie can have the added space.
