My FTMO journey: trials, trials and maybe more anytime

Challenge #2 is done :(

I think its really difficult to get back after such a large drawdown.
Your system is good, and makes significant returns.
But, when you take a hit, you give up several days profit in one day.
What would happen if your total SL was 430Euros?
A loss would just be a days loss, rather than 3, or 4.

I'm thinking about a strategy change or add a strategy since I brought my damaged challenge account in to profit again today.
The number of trads and the lotsize used is not apllicable to win a challenge.
But that is not necessary.

I'm still running the old challenge account instead of a new trial.
Didn't get the right moments for the entries for medium or long term trades so I traded only small short term trades with 0.5 lots.

Epic comeback!
Drawdown of around 24K right up to breakeven.
Whats the max number of lots your Swing account allows open at any one time?

With the 80k account I can open at least 8 lots of US100. It's about 10k margin per lot.

As my ruined old challenge account was running until Friday. I had some strange discussion with FTMO about undisclosed changes on the billing procedures in December and couldn't solve it for sure.
I'm also not sure whether MFF could be better for me.

But I started a new FTMO trial today.

I wonder why people trust random traders to trade their money. why don't they go to trading firms with a record and ask for a better split?

Today I closed my long trades before the US markets openened.
The trial account reached the trial profit target of 5% today.

Passed the objectives of the trial today.
Came closer to the daily loss limit as I didn't hold my volume limit, but survived.
I closed the open positions before the market closed with good profit.

What is your hit rate with passing trials, and how many trials?
(Mine is 31% on 51 trials - which is pretty terrible)
Not good enough to consider a paid-for account.

Oh, I didn't count it :)
But I assume there were about 10, and 3 - if I remember it right - without violation of the rules.
That's about the same result as yours.

I also lost two paid accounts and went back to training.

Next round - I started on Monday.
I was waiting before publishing something as I had some trouble in the last successful round.

Results until now:
