Mr Spread Betting is back, be careful everyone

Could be a case of mistaken i.d. That sounds like another member of t2w, you never can tell around here though as there are just so damn many multinics.

True, it's terrible how many there are. Luckily there are a few folks around here like you and me who wouldn't do such a thing.

The only circumstances upon which T2W would reveal member IP or other data is if we were instructed by court order to do so. It is unlikely that any other forum would do differently as it does come into the area of data protection although you just never know. Even in the event that IP data has been handed over it is not an easy task to then identify who was posting from it without incurring significant cost and even then proving it in a court is another story.

That is good to know T333 and is as members would expect.

However, do you know for sure whether it is simply forum policy or whether doing so would be a breach of the law regarding data protection?

Might it depend, for example, on forum terms and conditions?

either babypips are in hot bother or davey is exposed for all to see as the fairyland story maker he truly is.

this is win win lulz (y)

If it is false which I'm sure it is, I'd love to see BP take him to court for defamation.

After all he has £8million in the bank so they can sue him for plenty

A good day for lulz and for righteous deeds.

Very welcome too because there was absolutely flip all for me to do trading-wise today.

I like these T2W lulzy outings. Makes you appreciate what's here all the more when you come back from said excursion.

Is the new forum down already?

Looks like it has indeed gone already.

That certainly fits the Davie MO.

Alas! The evidence is already preserved elsewhere.

Of course, he only has himself to blame. Leaving aside the nature of his enterprise, this has all come about because of his IP address claim, which presumably was intended to protect his forum and his new venture. Oh, the irony!

Thread at Baby Pips is closed again!!

I was scammed!

To be fair, a BP mod did post this explanation:

Pipstradamus here.

Yes, we're aware of the situation.
Yes, we've been reading ALL that has been said.
Yes, we're aware of what's been going on in some of the other forums mentioned.
No, we do not share ANY personal information with 3rd parties, including David Jefferson. Please read our Privacy Policy. We are a US based company and we publicly adhere to US laws.
No, we are not affiliated with or in business with anyone, other than the broker advertisers you see across our website, no matter what anyone else says or posts.
We don't get paid by scammers or forum members for black hat services or benefits.

This thread is now closed. Please don't post any more David Jefferson threads until we complete our own investigation. And these things take time. This is a business for us. We are not full-time moderators. We ask for your patience. Things are not always black and white. New threads will be closed and deleted related to this matter. Please respect this decision.

Pipstradamus

That does acknowledge the problem and answer the question posed.

Well It is actually my fault that he went to BP in the first place. He started his latest scam on another forum in July posting the same exact stuff you see here and on BP. I wanted to debate him on an issue unrelated to trading and as I am sure you can guess I did not meet with friendly commentary. Once I stated my opinion HE FREAKED! So then of course I fought back. We both got banned for a few days from the forum . I returned , he went to BP to start all over again . I followed him over there and began the quest to enlighten others......my theory was that a professional anything would not retaliate the way he does especially when trying to sell something......you have to accept criticism and questions. Even other scammers like Dustin Pass and the like at least ACT like they care .....Dave does not.

So I apologize, MY BAD!

And I'm sure if you're still banned from that forum (was it something to do with Donna? I read that thread also) you'll find a very nice home here you stick around.

Gekko you started the ball rolling at D forum and then I put it into high gear in his live chat room and on twitter!! LOL From there I posted here and all the good lads on this forum took it into high gear!! Well done guys. It's nice to see that the forums members here don't put up with scammers!!

Cheers

Jeff
