Amongst all the fantastic quotes from true legends of sport/life, there is a one from Wayne Gretzky that I think is epic for all sorts of reasons, not least of which is it's simplicity.

"A good hockey player plays where the puck is. A great hockey player plays where the puck is going to be" which is certainly as good, if not better than, "You miss 100% of the shots you never take".
