What's with the vague posts tonight?

Care to elaborate a bit or shall I just type random words?

Orange cheese banana car.

hi hedgehog,

Couldn't have picked better myself :) Your "journey from the basement" link started at page 28 - I've edited it to start at the beginning. Hope that's ok.

I'm amazed that these threads are so old - time just flies by.

I think you've done everyone a good turn by resurrecting these threads. It was a shame so many of them got ruined by detractors, particularly by the inexperienced who didn't seem to like the idea of the amount of work involved. This (and some falling out between one or two of them) led to many of your recommended posters moving away which is a pity.

good trading

Hi,

It is a shame I am so far away, it would have been great to meet you... fancy a WOT thread before you go?

Hi

Where in particular IS mr marcus' analysis?

r u referring to the blackcab download or the threads?

Cheers.

Yes the blackcab download. It is quite jaw dropping - see if your 1st reaction is "that's impossible!" :)

Yes cheers. I just have had a quick look through. Its very deep stuff. I can't begin to absorb it right now. But mr.marcus put a lot of work into those threads, so cudos to him ;).

I see it uses volume, quite a bit. I trade fx which doesn't have volume.

I'll have a better look when i have time.

.....It looks quite handy though.

I'm particularly interested to see what i can pick up from it, that can help my EOD forex trading, in terms of reading the chart from left to right, seeing what is happening within each candle, in terms of giving me an edge that will help me to more successfully make a decision based on what i think will happen next, over the next 24 hour candle etc.

I'm comfortable with the distance that EOD trading off daily charts provides. My current means of doing so, is OK, but by no means superb. Hopefully i can improve it further by picking up tricks from sources like this or elsewhere.

I'll have to read & analyse first, but it does seem to make logical sense, the snippets i've read so far.

Have you made use of the methods used by mr.marcus?

Cheers.

I think there might be subtle differences between UK shares and forex. Mr.Marcus is using his experience gained from thousands of hours of watching EOD shares - unlikely to be replicated by me since I've only just started out.

It hasn't sunk in yet - need to reread it a few more times to appreciate what he is saying. Certainly an eye-opener anyhow.

Volume is also vital in his work I believe so kind of screws us FX traders in that respect but NOT to say it can't be looked at that way.... Sure volume helps but to coin a recent phrase, ''its what happens inside each candle that counts''

You would be ill advised to journey into the woodland with those pants on....
