Sticky Introduce Yourself

Hello!

I`ve bet on Betfair for a while now and there I discovered I like trading. But there aren`t as many trading markets on there as there could be so I am here to explore what other sorts of trading oportunities exist in the wide world.

Hi, Was once a Gann 'enthusiast' - interested to put my finger on the general market pulse now that the Dow Jones appears to be on the verge of crashing through the 7680 or 7200 floor. Cheers & regards. MB

Hello all I am new here, hope I can bring something to the party

I am new here and honestly not sure how the site works yet but I saw I could introduce myself and I wanted to do just that.

I have been trading for a year or two.

I have been loosing money in the markets for 15 years+.
Always buying books and courses and accepting guidance from others but never committing fully to really learn what makes equities move and how to really be disciplined enough to capitalize with any regularity. My emotional state was always fluctuating and I lost more often than I profited until I stopped throwing money away and started to be honest with myself about my weaknesses and my strengths. Prior to that I ONLY had strengths. : ) if you follow what I am saying here.
There was no way that it could have been me or my lack of discipline that could have caused me to loose thousands upon thousands upon...well I am sure you get the picture. If I had back just what I lost in principle I would be able to buy a nice house (These days in a very nice neighborhood over looking some beautiful water.)
I have actually been very successful the last two years averaging a winning record and now feeling very confident in my ability to win as I trade. The confidence has allowed me to take a loss without the guilt and the discipline helps keep my trading portfolio in the black!

If you are finding the process of learning technical analysis a challenge you are not alone it was daunting to me when I started.
Stay with it never stop learning. I am here to tell you it works if you never stop trying.
Keep an open mind and an honest heart.
But remember these words, "If you think hope is the answer in life you are right! If you think Hope is the answer in buying stocks - Get out of the market now and don't come back until you learn that hope belongs with your family and religion but not in the markets. Search for facts and trade what the charts tell you, nothing else!"
Don't let the nice man on the internet tell you about the next system that will make you a 100% winner! Or the sure fire way to make money all the time! These nice men on the internet use to be known as hucksters back in the day, don't let them take your money instead keep it and put it to work earning more money for you!

Wishing you the best!

Hi! thanks for the welcome! :)

This is a new sticky thread in the Members, Meetups & Socials forum which provides everyone an opportunity both old members and new an opportunity to introduce themselves to the community.

If you're a new member, or maybe just a lurker who hasn't yet taken the plunge, then this is as good a place as any to start. Tell us a bit about yourself, perhaps your trading history and interests, and what you hope to gain from the site.

:!: If you have any simple questions related to trading, then please refrain from asking them in this thread and instead use the First Steps forum, which is targeted specifically to newbies taking their first steps:
First Steps - T2W Day Trading & Forex Forums

new member

I'm a newbie to this site and am taking the plunge and making my first post. I've never traded FOREX before, and am looking to do so. looking forward to getting to know some members.

Intro............

Hi there! Somehow, while searching for sites to download ebooks on FOREX I was brought to t2W ans so here I am introducing myself. Hope to gain knowledge on FOREX trading with the community here.

Hello

Hi all,

I've known about T2W for a few months but never got round to joining till recently. I've been a dabbler in the markets for a good 3-4 years now and enjoy it a lot.

I started my own little website Traders Den where I post my strategies up. Still working on it really but it is up and running though there's not too much there just yet. It was during my research that's how I found this site!

Either way, whatever i post on my site will be duplicated on here for everyone to see and use.

Anyways hope you all find my contributions useful!

Hi all

Hello all, looking to understand the markets and why they move. Also looking to make some money when I have gained some knowledge of the markets and when I feel brave enough to enter the markets

Hello,
I am very new to trading - just started dabbliing in March. Currently biting my nails on some Options..
Look forward to learning from ya'll.

Hi All
Wanted to introduce myself, I am quite new to the world of self finance, I have interests in stocks and shares within a pension scheme, Capital bonds and an ISA, however this is all through a financial adviser.
Having seen the state of my investments I have been looking around to see how to improve things for myself and take a greater interest in the field of finance, stocks & shares, etc.etc.
My first encounter has been looking through information about penny shares and trying to get a feel for them and it appears to be quite apparent they are or can be a risky business but worth a shot at, all the same I believe.

Finally, what drew me to 'Trade2Win', where details I received about Pure Matrix, not quite sure what it was about I read some of the comments on this site which seemed to clarify things a little, although at the moment, my main interests are learning and gaining experience in investing through a nominee account and perhaps like some of the group use paper money first of all.

Thanks

Quick hello

Hullo to all the new traders and experienced forex folks. I've been trading in commodities and am moving on to try out forex. The forum looks fantastic.

Hi.I am a very cautions and patient trader.I don't trade everyday but I am up 75% of the time.reader of barrons.Like Jim cramer as a contrary play?I don't see any buys tomorrow.shorts may be.see market going down to 7000 before November.I am a real estate investor also. The best opportunity is in real estate right now if you can find deals like trump.I live in Florida so stock market is my casino.my motto is to go against my decision to buy or sell.and I have great success with it.when market looks too obvious its time to go against it,up or down.

Newbie alert, Been registered on this site since January, but not posted till now.

Hello traders around, interesting trading environment isn't it? Glad I left the hartbeating daytrading (poor quality of life) which I probably wouldn't have survived. I refocussed the last 2,5 years instead on longer term investments with derivatives which gives me much more peace-of-mind.

We work with Goldman Sachs Clearing in London. The Kyte Group could become are second execution service supplier.
