How often do you check your positions and 1 more..

As the title goes, how often do you check your trades once your in? Once a day, once every couple hours or what? My second question is, why do many stocks tend to move up or down at the end of certain days? I mean in the last 10-15 minutes of that day. Are these swing traders jumping in/out?

I have a chart open all day - I do internet and other apps on 1 screen, chart on the other.

If you are online, might as well have the chart open. Depends on whether you can stand looking at a loss for 5 hours or not, I guess. Or whether you can resist closing for 30 pips profit.

The funny thing is ... the more I check stock prices the more I tend to lose due to fear. I'm pretty stubborn.
