FTSE, DAX, DOW Trading Ideas and discussions

2 hrs to go... get your phone ready Micky....

more annoying problem some times is... your phone/tab is working and network goes off....

I'm home from work now, have my laptop. Hopefully I can pull back some loss.

Hopefully the speech doesn't cause more upside.

by the time Draghi speaks, price would consolidate at critical level... so that easy to pop or drop

12100 or 12200???

EUR/USD : Week 16th March - 20th March

Selling is getting weaker but there are still force out there. Level to watch is 10500 and 9850 (+- 50).

They looks good support area and chances are that price can bounce back from these level.

I expect price to bounce back from 10500 and rally to 11500 and even above that level.

We will keep an eye on intraday sessions next week.

that would have been a nice trade today... lost my focus

No.....never tried news trading before, but out of curiosity I was looking into web.

There was an article in share magazine a few week ago ... about how to trade announcements and result news... and how to anticipate market move before the release and take position....

Juts out of curiosity I was just looking what are the other stuff out there

news trading is easy...the difficult bit being the volatility before the release
before the release..if you are in and in profit then tighten the stop..if you are not in points...then think hard whether you want to get kicked around
if very volatile..see where the price gets taken to..usually a big s/r area.ie the price is manipulated into those areas..you might have made a decision before the release as to the direction
you want to get in on the opposite side
the fomc wording is where the action is

dxy ..there is also debt ceiling looming aswell as fomc and some poor numbers
possibly looking like dxy got overbought

I agree... without fare bit of consolidation buying looks dodgy...
