ForexMorningTrade System

Flat as a pancake on both Smart Live and Think Forex - NO TRADE on both at 6.15 and 6.30. I think traders are busy making money today on oil, gold and silver!

Morning All,

I agree with you both as I have a no-trade.

FXDD Live EA.

Interesting to see how the different start times influence the trades. Anyone know what PFGs start time is?

Thanks

Seems the mixed signals are due to when your broker closes on a Friday and restarts on Sunday night, different times will impact on how the indicators are aligned.

Yes you're entirely right. We had great discussion on here a couple months ago about this. The maths are complex, anyway we get these differences due to that gap. FMT needs about 15 hours to collect the data upon which the signal is given.

I think the conclusion a couple months ago, was a comment from Mark along the lines that over a year these differences should cancel themselves out. (That's if you carry on doing the same thing all the time without amending the variables!)

OK, that's 2 wrong trades in a row from Oanda! What broker is the most accurate for this system?

Was the other wrong trade also on a Monday? (Just checking because you said 2 in a row -I would have thought Friday's was fairly clear whatever chart you were on).

I also thought Oanda was meant to be good. In other words to have a low % of losing accounts on their books, but that might be more to do with permitted leverage levels.

I use Alpari, and have no particular issues, but perhaps the main reference point would be PFG Best due to the site author using them with confidence.
