I'd only go to the district because I understand there is a very good martial arts school based there... (although a quick google can't find it but I was told there was a good one there).

If you want true sight-seeing ( and the rest ) suggest get yourself off to Orchard Towers shopping centre at night and hit the bars and nightclubs there.

Frequenting such a venue would make me both sad and desperate. I am neither thank you very much!

Besides, similar venues exist much closer to home, if i ever wanted one.

I think prostitution serves a purpose. On the streets, they are one of a drug dealers main source of income.
In a massage parlour they are likely to be a people traffikers main source of income.
In a hotel they might be a sad lonely executives main source of relief.

I just feel sorry for the women & men who do it, and for their customers!
