Because in trading , the human brain is wired to lose , in other professions they don't have to deal with changing maps of t/a , other professions have fixed variables e.g accountancy ,law etc.Of course , we can change trading strategies to suit the human brain , like I do .

In the trading industry 95 % lose , in accountancy the success rate is much higher .

Other professions have several years of studies , after A levels .In trading we have a weekly seminar for $5,000 , punter is ready for the casino , to learn 10 years of trading education in a seminar of a few days.:LOL::LOL:

All the 95 % teach and preach to the new 95%.Qualified people with professional qualifications teach other professions.
 
Trading is in fact very simple and very easy to learn: buy low sell high. For that reason, the merchants decided to make it more difficult and more profitable. So they tell people to learn TA. Through TA, 99% of the people lose their shirts to the merchants.

The reason is these people know if I take a position on their call, the price will move against me and against themselves. So they don't call. But the less experienced TA gurus don't know that and call. Then they suffer the consequences that all can see.

Mine is doing perfectly well. How much do you want to bet against my making a profit on it ? Since you are unwilling to bet, I know the odds of my "knitting" unravelling is very low. I needn't worry about it because I know you will alert me to the danger once you are willing to bet.

Yes, it may well come back for you, it often does and that's why it's so attractive on the surface. Unfortunately, it only needs to let you down once and the result is a massive hole in your account if not total blow out.

As fl says in the previous post risk management is key, but I expect you know better since you are the enlightened one :)

Yes, I am enlightened. This is why I don't listen to fl. He doesn't know if the market is coming or going. You are easily taken in by him because you are not too experienced. You are mistaken to believe everyone is in the same state as fl. If I was, how can I then be enlightened ?

Honestly, you two make a good team and should combine your forces. With the combined risk management strats, you will be safe as houses, and all the shops will be queuing up for your business. They will think every day is Christmas.

You needn't worry about me. I know perfectly well what I am doing. In any case my account growing at a faster rate than losses does help. Big loss today will look like a tiny loss down the line. Cost of doing business is rather cheap for me since I don't have to take a loss every 10 pip move like the new guy.

Judging by the performance of the new guy, TA is not working well. So I won't use it unless I plan on losing. Looks like he's changing tactics to hold until win. I am curious where he got that idea from ? Barjon needs to tell him about the bit where it is not coming back.
