vis a vis the trend line

I think the difference between the charts was just the time difference, the daily one posted below looks pretty similar to the one you posted last- with a fall thru' that support trend line -almost at 50% retracement of the recent move3575- 3894

Just took a quick long at 3,804- filled at 805 -out now at 811.

Although it's looking a little more +ive than earlier

I've been testing to get a better system for DAX.. ended up with

SLOWD 14,3,3 exponential
SLOWD 39,9,o exp
MACD 9,18,5

colour code bars SLOWD- SLOWD.1 on 14,3,3 1 minute chart..
keep long whilst 9 ema (blue)>20 ema (green) and vice versa...

15 min chart- that gave a buy signal, or an indication that things were turning +ive.

Do you find that changing the MACD gives you any better signals?
Elder seems to think that it hardly makes any difference.

Looking at your MACD- there was a divergence with the price & the sell signal occured when it crossed the zero axis.


Do you know a good optician? My eyes have just been assaulted :cheesy: Looks like your charts giving all the right signals- too bright for me tho' 😀

MACD? Setting 12/26/9 or 9/18/9 .. little difference...

At the risk of being labelled an acolyte I feel that MAD's charts convey a huge amount of information very clearly.

They are daunting initially but repay study.

In a fast moving market it is helpful to have immediate access to clear signals from indicators you find to be trustworthy

I am newbie to dax trading. In Nq trading I always watch SOX and in Es trading I watch Dow, BKX etc. I mean to see the divergence between them. Do you have any idea for Dax trading? Is it synchronize with other german indices?
Your input would be highly appreciated.
