I mean seriously - unemployment numbers and trade balance had ZERO effect on the market.

unemployment data may be spoilt by shut down and big revisions possibly.

the us markets have backed off slightly spy +0.3%

also Postman remember we have made lower low on sp500dec. this is sign of waning momentum

It will be interesting to see what happens overnight as the Nikkei is trading 80 points BELOW its close at the moment.
