Whatever happened to the Grumpy old men (I include myself) forecasting a crash in the Dow and the end of the world as we know it?

Does this mean I can no longer rely on shorting the FTSE to make up for my other trading losses. 😆

Well we had our bulls hat on friday only for the grumpy yanks to ruin our day, i thought i was being clever buying the dax at 8140, when i checked it friday at 9pm, im down £700 wasnt overally happy but this has reversed nicely today. Think were going to retain a bid until the fed meeting then its down to what they say, that is not an evening to have a position !

Hmmm. Catching a falling knife eh! Never good.

The trendline we broke calls for a retest at 6280 but I'm scalping so I'm out now (+30).

My opinion (read guess) would be that we hit 6280 today and look for a push upwards next week. But that's crystal ball stuff.

There's 6280.

So a long here for me at 6279 !

Reaching resistance @ 6380.

dow has a very strong tendency to reverse large moves on the next day. if not next day then to retrace large moves over a few days
