Following a number of recommendations on these boards I switched from AVG to Anitvir - and very happy with the product.

One thing to watch out for is the size of the logfile. The default installation setting allows it to grow fairly large. I just deleted over a Gig of logfile.

Unless you're a real late night reviewer of detailed logfiles and finds it 'quite fascinating', I'd suggest you check your settings and amend accordingly.

AVG just no longer cuts the mustard, AntiVir is the only way to go.

Bramble, make sure you update regularly. They sometimes have 2 a day. There was also a prog upgrade the other day.
