I am sure a few have heard about AGT (Advanced Global Trading) who were running what (in-hindsight) looked to me like a carbon credits ponzi scheme. I couldn't find a lot on the forums about them but I heard they were in liquidation with class actions against them etc.
Anyway, they managed to take some of my money and I have been stuck with some worthless VERs since then.
Enter Portland Blackwood. Anyone ever heard of them? www.portlandblackwood.tk (UK phone numbers and address, but why .tk ???)
Their story is that they are in a take-over of the company that my carbon credits are held against and need to purchase them from me to make it happen.
It gets better. They are offering more than I paid for them.
I just need to sign a sales contract and they will send me the cash.
This is way too good to be true, but what is the worst that can happen?
There is no cash needed from my end. Not yet anyway, not that I will be sending any.
So should I sign and send the sales contract back to them???
