Hi guys

I'm interested in finding out more about your experiences in developing as a trader.
I'm a discretionary trader, currently trading shares and warrants in Singapore and have been profitable as a day trader over the past two years. Unfortunately, my strategy is not scalable and to be very frank, I only have one trade setup to use.
I'm worried about being a one trick pony but at the same time, I've been finding it very hard to improve. I'm thinking of learning how to build a mechanical trading system but that implies a very steep learning curve which I'm not certain will pay off as this is completely different from how my style of trading discretionarily.
Can anyone share any similar experiences they had and how they managed to "break through" to a new level of trading?

First I want to congratulate you on finding a winning/profitable method that works for you. The first one is always the hardest... Now I dont know about "break through" to a new level but it's always a good idea to diversify your strats. Start taking some portion say 1% and find your next strat. The hardest part about addons are the time constraints on a one man band. So If you can Automate it, you would be better off.

1- Different Time Frames. (DayT, SwingT, MidT, LongT)
and/or
2- Different Styles. (Income -to pay the bills/Capital Appreciation -to build the empire)

Best of Luck...
