Hi Hook, Do you Day trade or hold longer term? I am just starting out on the FTSE 100 shares and have a couple in play, I watch the 1 hour charts for potential setups. I usually only take shares that have a low spread to keep risk down. Thanks Jay

S&P finally turned against me for a -4 point loss, now long @ 1514.0

S&p Glad I hung onto this short. Could prove to be useful yet :confused:

And just to spice things up a bit I will hold my short on S&P... :-0 until either, my TA changes to long or stop hit Jay

It happens, I myself had a horibble day 2 days ago on the FTSE, made me stop trading it for a while just to recover. But prior to that I was doing ok. I think the market watches you and as soon as you get comfortable it goes WHAM! Hopefully the good trades will come back :confused:

S&p Short on the S&P @ 1510

Hi, I trade the S&P, it is bordering on a short setup for me, but not sure if it would be a fake before a move up as you say. Managed a nice 5 point trade yesterday on the way up Jay

S&p Exited long at breakeven (oh well) Now short @ 1503.9 (cash)

I trade the S&P as it has a lower initial spread and it suits by little piggy bank ;) also, it semi mirrors the DOW so hope you don't mind me posting this here. I'm still long @ 1503.7 (30 minute CASH charts) and opened out of market hours Thanks Jay
