Hmmm the madness continues... went short FTSE at 4480 thinking we couldn't have another up day and now the Dow shoots up again!!!

Feeling rather frustrated at the moment... but I should know not to try and pick the top of the market although my brain ... and heart are telling me this is close to the top.

But I guess I should only be relying on the charts and nothing else to trade... again easier said than done

I think it's getting increasingly dangerous to try to scalp off 4500. The more times it hits that level the more likely to break through. Am waiting 4520 to go short still.

right..if it hits 4505 on all my shorts (4503 from yest, 4480, 4489, 4497)...ill lose 52points...22.5 loss today overall...ouch...ill take it on the chin if it happens...of course I might even make a few bob too

I'm out for +4...thats three 10M candlesticks looking like they are going to close with no lower shadows - absolutely no sellers beneath 4484.

GSK @ 12.30 pushed ftse higher, later at 1.00pm morgan stanley pushed it lower
