In the Boards summary, the CFD forum reports 127 threads with 977 views. The Forum itself however shows only 8.
I have recently been exposed to the fringes of a company that pushes a software analysis tool. Their recommended investment instrument is CFDs. Their high pressure tactics make them laughable non-starters for me. However, some of the features of CFDs looked interesting. Particularly being able to go short in times like these.
So I have been trying to learn more about CFDs. Its disappointing to find an almost empty CFD forum and puzzling to find the above discrepancy. Possibly a limitation of the board software?
I have found several articles on the subject and looked at what CMC and the other brokers that offer CFDs have to say. I still have some issues with the whole concept, particularly with what I see as a possible conflict of interest on the side of the broker.
I have searched through the forums and read what there is to find on CFDs. Pity that it's not consolidated here.
As a neophyte to trading I find the information in the posts of enormous value and wouldn't dare ask a question here before seeing what has already been said. kudo's to you all for a very high quality site.
