hi all
I'm not sure if this is the right place for this query but here goes.
Until now I have only downloaded UK stock prices for my Metastock EOD data files. But a few days ago decided that i should start looking at US stocks; so I created a new directory for US stocks and downloaded a few historical data files as a test. On the face of it seemed OK.
However, I have since found out that the downloaded data has overwritten some of my UK stock data because it had the same epic code!! dumb eh??
So the question is-- whats the recommended way of ensuring the two epics are separate? I could go through all my UK stocks and add .L to the symbol but seems a bit longwinded?
