Just wondering if there was anyone here in front of there terminal when the news broke? Or if unknowingly you didn't hear about it and are holding anything over the weekend?

I'm short a bunch of ES right now. I certainly wouldn't mind 2100 or even 2110 on Monday morning. Doubt it though. It will be interesting to see how this plays out over the weekend.

I am thinking about killing my wife. The news broke about 1 & 1/2 hrs before the close (@ Friday night in the pub UK time). I found out 4mins before close, much to late to catch any of that massive move on the TRY. Went upstairs to tell the wife & she says "Yeah didn't you know, I got a text alert about an hour & half before close ". Grrr.
Most UK traders were closed down and finished for the night.

Saturday Morning in Australia at the time.

More of a liquidity issue close of the week with buy orders being pulled because of the news headline.

Momentum is to the upside at the moment so buyer orders should come back in Monday.

I picked up a long ASX200 & AUDJPY was not expecting that.

Should add it got rid of a pesty short AUDUSD from early in the week.
