Hey everyone,
I’ve been trading for about 5 years and recently started building a trading simulator that runs on historical data.
The idea is pretty straightforward: instead of waiting for setups or risking real money, you go through charts, make decisions (long/short), manage the trade, and see how it plays out. Basically trying to get more reps in a shorter time.
One thing I’ve focused on is risk management. Every trade requires a stop loss, so you’re always thinking in terms of defined risk instead of just entries. I’ve also added some structured formats like short daily scenarios and pattern-based drills so it’s not just random clicking.
I built it mainly because I felt like most traders don’t get enough quality practice: it’s either too slow or too unstructured.
Would be really interested to hear what you think:

- Do you use anything similar to practice?
- Does this approach make sense to you?
- What would you want from a tool like this?
