tencorp vs trader_dante

Tencorp,

Since you are about to have your order hit, what size are you taking the trade at?

As, by my calculation, your stop is 572 ticks I would imagine £1 a tick (5.72%) but perhaps you are going to take more risk?

i would have taken at £1 a tick. there will be plenty of time to add if the trade works out.

Order entered to sell Usd/Cad at 1.0202
Stop at 1.0243

Risk = 41 ticks

Trade size: £1 a tick (total risk: 10.3% of accumulated net profit)

Reason: Daily TF rejection of top of the range leads to break of ascending TL AND breach of S/R pivot. Subsequent attempt at rally then fallies.

Entry to be taken on break of previous bar low with stop above its high.

Was planning to add another £1 on the break of the two bar low on the 1hr but it had moved through it before I could post it...oh well :)

Trade update: Usd/Cad stop moved to 1.0202 (breakeven)

Trade update: Usd/Cad stop moved to 1.0186 (+ 16 ticks)

Tightening it more than usual as we enter the "chop zone".

Buy to close £1 Usd/Cad at 1.0202

Net profit: £16

Trade #1: +52 / £364
Trade #2: +35 / £35
Trade #3: +16 / £16

Total: £415

the stop order on usd/cad should be moved up to 0.9796

a simultaneous buy order should be placed at 1.0331

this will be for another unit of £1 per tick

stop order on usd/cad should be moved up to 0.9815

buy order is still in place at 1.0331 for second unit.

total risk on open position is now 496 ticks.

as i said when i started this, the initial risk of 601 ticks is diminishing as the market is given time and room to trade.

Haha man, i thought dante was gonna lay the smackdown so rawly on that dude!!! He was certainly going that way until the anticlimax
