What a disgusting, disreputable, dispreciable lot the British tabloids are. From the owner, editor, down to the reporters and photographers they are absolutely the dregs of the written word.

I haven't bought a paper in years but I still get the sordid news on Yahoo!

Butler's 'Diana Sex Boast' Ruling - Yahoo! News UK

From the very young to the very old, we are bombarded by the results of their "the people have the right to know" doctrine and, in addition, they are powerful enough to ruin anyone's reputation with impunity.

God save me from ever becoming of news interest to any of them.

The conundrum is - if you don't read the papers you are uninformed - but if you do then you are misinformed.

Personally I prefer the first option.

........................................... etc etc

Of course, that lot couldn't exist without readers who buy this trash. So what do we think of the readers - aren't they just the same ?

Diana ruined her own reputation through her idiotic and freakish behaviour.

She was a nutter and deserved vilification and humiliation in the press.

Anyway, I thought Burrell was a confirmed shirt-lifter.

I don't care about the tabloid press.

Let them be...........most of the people they report on deserve what they get anyway.

Just thought I would throw in a dissenting voice for good measure to balance out the crap above.

Anyhow, how the f*uck can you read The Guardian or The Times in bed...too bloody big.

0007:

I'm afraid so, but according to someone I heard on the BBC the army says that most of the recruits signed up have an average reading level of seven years of age, so I'm not sure to whom the tabloids direct their "news".

Unless it's to those like Yacarob1.

Just when I thought that we were beginning to agree with each other, you have to go and **** it all up!

Diana is dead and can't defend herself and the Monarchy takes the same view as you, now that she is no longer part of the Family. That does not make any of you right.

Who brings your tabloid up to your bedside, anyway?

I prefer the red tops to the mail any day, but we get the papers we deserve.

Even the spectator and private eye have gone downhill ffs!

Might I recommend prospect magazine?

P.S. Kerry Katona's husband has bought a mini with lexus lights. I'm writing to my MP!

If the Monarchy takes the same view as me they are not as stupid as they look.

Diana played with fire and got incinerated.

As you wish. To say she played with fire suggests that her death was not accidental.

I believe that it was an accident

I, also, believe that the Monarchy was within an ace of being abolished the week that she died.

So what if they did do it?

Does it really matter?

Is it really news worthy?

Who gives a dam?

Are you kidding?

With all the crap in the news these days I would say that that that would have been the talk of the town!

Why?

what is so astonishing about a man and woman having sexual intercourse?

It happens hundreds of millions of times per day - the world over.

They probably did.

After all , the tart wasn't fussy was she ?

:( what she was, was loved by millions of people, which was shown by the large numbers who turned up to pay their respects at her funeral, with views and comments like the ones you have made lets hope someone turns up at yours, not counting your butler ofcourse, who I recommend you pay in advance for coming or you might find no one arrives :devilish:

Dont even waste the wear & tear on your keys responding to such nincumpoop like comments!

The tabloid has obviously done its job of grabbing your attention and illiciting an emotional reaction, as you decided to start a WWW discussion about the story....
