Swing Trading Value Stocks

More journals completed to increase my USD cash position. That is currently my largest "position" at the moment, hence:
Bought some LC @ 6.76 this morning to top up this position size to equal at least 1/2 of the largest one in my USA Portfolio (which is currently "cash" - as mentioned above).

Portfolio = 77% stocks, 23% cash
Portfolio Avg. Annual Gain (XIRR) = 29.74%

Buy orders are currently set for NA.to and BZH

Hmm... For the last year or two, the market just hasn't been as lively as it used to be. So today I've decided to make my very, very last strategy change (yet again). Due to all these extremely extended periods of consolidation that keep showing up, I am extending (doubling) the time frame from which I currently compare stocks with and slightly lowering my first exit target as well (I use 3 different targets depending on length of time that has elapsed - quick profit/breakeven/small loss). I expect this change will give my picks more breathing room to recover, and eventually even - as a side benefit - increase the number of these holdings in my portfolio for better diversification. Increased diversification will reduce my ind'l company exposure risk and also reduce the size of that idle cash amount I have set aside at any given time for new buy orders (gotta have it, but I hate it at the same time due to the 'cash drag' effect).

However, that also means that due to this expanded view change my buy orders will be set to a lower price than my usual standard (at least initially anyway).
So, currently, I have a couple of stink bids out there for CRT-UN.to and NEE (top up).

Milestone! I sold the very last of my YGR.to shares today. Good Riddance! From here on out my portfolio entirely comprised of my swing strategy stocks now. Just have to clean up a couple of lingering journal trades, but no biggie.

Portfolio = 82% stocks, 18% cash

Stock Market Annual Gains over same period of time (^SP500TR) = 12.93%

edit: scratch that. Buy orders now set for TF.to (my price is very likely to be filled tomorrow) and TFSL

I don't normally watch those MIC stocks due to their poor volume, next to zero chance for capital appreciation (fundamentally speaking), low price variance and higher tax treatment of the "interest income" dividend. However, as my wife has rightly pointed out to me, TF.to in particular has both picked up in volume and sold off substantially recently. Consider my interest peaked here. That 11% dividend yield doesn't hurt either ;)
