My FTMO journey: trials, trials and maybe more anytime

I started the challenge today as I didn't have enough time to watch the markets yesterday.

I also was astonished that the tick value of WS30 in the challenge was only 10% of the value in the trials.
But that difference made a winning day out of a losing one today, so I'm not complaining about my bad timing. ;)
So I asked FTMO to fix the wrong value.

edit:
FTMO answered that there wa change on the weekend and I didn't read the update information - everything is fine now.

I had not really time to trade, but managed a 10 minutes session during the US market opening.
The trades brought a result about the average result required to reach the profit target.

Today I had only one trade as I joined a company event in the afternoon and didn't want to watch my positions during this event. So I closed my trade when the event started and didn't wait for a fill on my tp (which would not happen until now).

I closed my positions today 10 minutes after the US opening, as there wasn't enough profit - more than the daily average currently needed - before.

I also saw a pip difference of (currently) 22 points (and more before the US opening) between Darwinex and FTMO on the US30 (WS30) contract. Spreads were regular and the other contracts were not conspicuous.

Show us the full analysis, I'm sure we can fix what the issue is.
Sorry for the late answer.

Here are the trades until the day the limit was violated:

What I learned if I use nearly the full daily loss limit (without violation) and the next day is also a losing day, the margin for manouvre bacomes very small.

So it was not good to use nearly the full daily loss limit.

Cutting the position size by 50% could have helped, to cut losses before the sl is reached is another alternative.
I don't know what could work for me.

At the end of the challenge I passed the profit target after hazardeous (?) trading on the last day.
Even if it is useless.

Note:
FTMO changed the sizes of some index contracts during this challenge, so the lotsize of today ist not comparable to earlier trades.

Do not worry: This "Challenge" is almost IMPOSSIBLE.
Meanwhile I can agree with that.
All rational ideas I had did not work.

It's a game for adventurers.
To win the last round I should have traded minimum sizes besides the last day where I never had a risk to lose as I was cascading the trades when the first ones were closed on the tp.
That only works on the right day which makes a lottery out of it.

I think about. I tell you that the next time, you could to analize the parametrers or conditions gaven for entity and your own system, after you could to define the strategy to follow... I hope to have to help you with this.

Trading for fun on the FTMO account as it is not closed yet confirmed what I wrote above:

As FTMO does not track a closed challenge, I can only show the trades from the MT4 terminal.

After a break of a few months I returned to the FTMO trial for testing pending orders with the trading tool I use.
It was the easiest way to test it on a demo account as the MT4 terminals for FTMO are still installed.
I'm curious whether I would pass all trading objectives of the trial, but that is not the first intention.

Here is Day 1:

Day 3:
Besides one trade (XAUUSD) nearly destroyed the nice earlier performance of the earlier day, the account is in line with my expectations and the average daily requirement.
The max. daily loss was increased in a very acceptable way.
The day ended about $ 50 below the ATH of the balance.
