My FTMO journey: trials, trials and maybe more anytime

New week, new free FTMO trial.
Now I want to play the verification/confirmation round with a 5k profit target for ten days without violating the loss rules.

Day 1, 2 trades:

Day 2, 2 trades:

Day 3-4, long trading session as I kept an US30 short position overnight.
No rules violation, but there was a certain risk to violate the daily loss limit when positions were unattended.
Bad luck with GER40 positions running in the sl.
There were 8 trades during these 2 days, half of them were closed losses.

Day 5, 2 trades.
The trading session lasted less than 10 minutes today.

Day 6, 3 trades.
As I traded from the Smartphone, I had 2 trades on GER40 for the 2 lots.
Bad timing (an hour later would be much better), but not critical. Positions were closed in the first 2 minutes after the U.S. market opening.

Reached all the objectives of the trial again today, on day 6.

Day 7: 2 small trades to document trading.
Day 8: 2 fast trades in the U.S. opening, closed the second when the first had run into tp. Session ended in less than 5 minutes.

Day 9:
5 trades. one lost on sl.

Day 10, 4 trades.
last day of this trial, all objectives kept as passed. Ended the trading session with the best daily result of this trail.

Started with a losing trade because of real bad timing, but I could compensate it and added two more trades after the U.S. opening.

As I waited for an answer from MFF, I continued with the next free trial with FTMO, for the hypothetical first money making round

The five trading days were different, from fast trading with short trading session to a long session holding overnight positions.

Week 2 waof this trial was also profitable, but less than last week no. 1.

All objectives passed on days 6 again, and held until the end on day 10 without violations.

Should I try it with a 100k account?

This week I'm still in training mode after I failed the last trial due to a stupid test where I neglected my discipline.
Now I'm here in the current trial after a losing Friday:

As far as I got it it is the regular fee for a 100k account (540 EUR incl. VAT, about the same in USD or about 467 GBP).

I'm not sure whether they would accept company registrations.

I am and was thinking about starting a new challenge before I read about the raffle.
I just asked them whether I would be also eligible if I pay from a company account.

I assume the effect is more to make people opening bigger - maybe additional - accounts than to persuade someone to sign up.

While I bought and paid a new challenge to be eligible for the 500k contest ...
... my trades of the running free trial of today ran into their tp.

There was an unusual crazy difference of more than 11 pips (about 140 EUR) on the GER40 trade between the tp triggered and the fill price for my advantage.

Yesterday I reviewed my FTMO trial history (nearly 20 trials meanwhile) and the first more than 10 I always violated a loss limit.
From the last 5 I only lost one.
I call that a learning curve.

Today I passed the trial again without violation.

I closed my positions today immediately when I got the profit target and after seeing a just 4 digit DD.

Next week I will start my new challenge (#3), but I didn't dicede how much I will post here.
For sure I will show the final result here.

Today I learned that an FTMO challenge can only be raded from an FTMO MT4 terminal. FTMO demos can also be traded on other MT4 installations. So I had to transfer all changes I made in the last months to the FTMO terminal. So I did not start the challenge today.
