More Problems with my Computer

Hi,

I am afraid it is me again with more problems in my computer...

Firstly, I want to install some language packages. I have downloaded them, but each time I try to install them, a dialouge window with funny characters pops up, which seems to ask for something like a password. What is the problem? The operating system is Windows XP, and the file system is NTFS.

Secondly, I want to install the Analysis ToolPak in Excel. But it always asks me to insert the 'Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage' disk. What is the problem here? Do I need to buy some MS Office XP service disk?

I'm not sure on your probs but a lot of people use this freebie which is compatible with MS Office.http://www.openoffice.org/
Read up on it first. I think I saw somewhere that it's tricky to uninstall.

When you install MS Office the default setting does not include the VBA analysis pack. If you do not have the MS Office CD that was used to install the program then you have a problem because you will need it to install the options you require.
