Well account down a lot, but that's due to my FTSE swing playing which was fun while it lasted, but not for me (probably not the last time I say that!) However, my position trading has done brilliantly this week considering the FTSE has fallen off a cliff!, position trading up 8% and all trades in profit.

Both strong fundamentals and relative strength against FTSE, and done a swing low.

LOG.L 132.6 target: 150 stop: 126.8
DNO.L 661 target: 800 stop: 628

Well the general analyst feeling is things are pretty bearish from now on down to maybe 5600 on the FSTE and 1220 on the sp500. However, I am seeing quite a marked bullish divergence forming on the market breadth and Mclellan Osc for the FTSE, and this nearly always precedes a big rise above the previous high. But... i'm sceptical, it just looks as though it's gonna go down...
Anyway, i'm just letting my stops, entries and exits tell me the way...!

Interesting journal---just to let you know you have a few watchers. I am currently trying something similar with ftse350 stocks. Mixed results so far this year but account is up around 16%. I have not really spreadbet stocks ( works out cheaper for small amounts? ) but may have a go using IG and SLM ---good luck

yep, it's been a choppy year to date, not really enough medium term (1-2 month) FTSE trends to work my methods well. And yep for small amounts SB works out cheaper.

Well awful week... down 21%, but hey FTSE is down over 4% YTD so can't complain too much. AGK.L pullback was a big hit but that was expected as it was a big bet with big profits. Others have pulledback and stopped with the market. I'm hoping for some buying to occur in the market now, especially as the up volume on the DOW looks very good today.

Got lucky with good ITV 2010 FY earnings results today, up 5% !
