Just inherited a Sony VAIO laptop.

Trouble is, the screen is rather low intensity and there doesn't appear to be anything in the power management or display functions to brighten it.

It's running XP Pro.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Display properties/settings/advanced/colour correction/brightness

Fn + F5 or similar ( in either case there should be a circle with little spikes around it along the "F" keys on the top row coloured in blue

Yep. That does it.

Thanks both.
