Ello from another demo nib
So this is where im at :
Started messing around late December last year on Demos (told myself if the world dont end im gonna learn to trade
), settled on Oanda for now to practice with (might stick with them once i go live), they seem ok.
Anyhow im hoping to focus on Forex, 2 day max swing trading. Started off scalping (im guessing all nibs do this lol), quickly realised Scalping is for pro's :/ Tried it on 1 mins, 5 mins and 15 mins (if that is still considered scalping).... zero consistently at my level. So moved onto Week/Day/4hr/30/15min charts review looking for entry points on 15 or min charts.
As it turn out im showing bigger and more regular profits this way on maybe 2 to 4 open trades left over night and sometimes playing a 30min trend few times over in the day on the main trend. Im trying to stay away from indicators with the exception of Bolinger bands or some times giving all charts a 200 SMA once over before refining for entry. Wont go live until i can show consistent profits for at least 2/3 months in a row.
