That's not their trading floor, looks more like some specialist sales area in their NY offices. Their Stamford site is, or used to be, the biggest trading floor in the world iirc, something like the size of 2 aircraft hangers.

My biggest reason for getting into trading was to AVOID being chained to cubicles, schedules, deadlines, bosses, clients, and all the bull**** associated with rat-racing. I trade from my patio, sipping long island iced teas, looking at the ocean, taking breaks when I want and for as long as I want. I don't need to punch a clock and If I want to take an afternoon off to yank it to internet porn, I just go ahead and do it without anyone looking over my shoulder and breathing down my neck.
