inexpensive historical and realtime data

hello,

trying to learn about trading. i've just got my hands on a copy of tradestation 8.1 and owndata 2.4. i'm wondering how to get historical and realtime data inexpensively. right now i just plan on paper trading, developing and backtesting systems.
