I've started trading after the Brexit vote, do not want to miss another opportunity to make part-time income! Although I did miss another one on Japanese recession last year, made £3,000 on a demo account.

I mainly trade FTSE100, GBP/JPY and Gold as a Day Trader/Scalping. Using CMC Market platform! Their charting tool seems fairly easy to use and make quite good predictions.

I know that GBP/JPY could fluctuate depending on the generic BBC and Japanese news, but for the FTSE, it's a collection of UK's best 100 companies, and I cannot keep track of all 100 companies and make long/short decisions, is there a place where I could monitor for its movement? Like I could see Reutars for currencies...

Thanks!

I see.
Not something I put absolute faith in - but these can be useful -

FXEmpire.com - snappy YouTube daily and weekly FTSE100 TA

DailyFX.com - also have YouTube site and also cover indices for more in depth analysis and more detailed commentary on fundamentals

www.dailyfx.com itself also a good source

Brian Shannon from Alphatrends.net does a good YouTube weekly TA commentary - doesn't say much about the FTSE but generally what goes for the Dow and S&P will be relevant

No doubt there are numerous other commentaries on the FTSE but the shadow of the FCA does inhibit that sort of thing from UK sources.

Thank you tomorton, this is really useful.

The FCA regulation, does that mean if we were to trade FTSE 100 we will have to rely on our research and analysis yourself? Bit tough indices to trade!

Various UK-based sources of market TA and advice have come and gone over the years and have cited the FSA or FCA attempting to construe they were offering investment advice. For which they needed to be FSA/FCA registered. And would not have been granted such registration.

But there's nothing wrong with a TA commentator being outside the UK. That is, if you want to believe someone else's analysis - and frankly, why would you?

Why would anyone want to believe someone else's analysis? Maybe because they don't know enough to have faith in their own analysis! A bit like someone voting 'remain' in the Brexit referendum just because the television told them it was best!

Don't stop there! There are sites where you can be told what and when to trade as well for a fee, of course.:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

One site in particular stands out. Its name begins with an African language or Z in the phonetic alphabet.

I've checked out the website and its certainly interesting! Are you an active member on that platform and are utilising its feature or do you trade on your own :)?
