I've just come back to Tradestation after a good spell with Esignal. The TS folks tell me they don't have a data feed for the FTSE 100, which I couldn't believe - it's not like it's a tiny, insignificant market is it? I'm not sure their guidance is right as I traded with TS a while back and I'm pretty sure I had data for the FTSE 100.
Does anyone trade this market and know the symbol for TradeStation or is my memory failing me? Help greatly appreciated as I know the FTSE very well and I'm presently trading the DAX in the am in its stead, which I don't really like.
I'd also like to know what point stops people are using daytrading either Dow, FTSE 100 or DAX. I use 20 on Dow, less 4 pts spread = 16pts and 15 on DAX, less 2 pts spread = 13. I'm wondering if I should increase it as when I first started 5 yrs ago a big day on the Dow was 100 points and I could get away with 10 pts.
