Ideal Stock Brocker

Hi, what would be the best stock brocker for me if I would like real time streaming data (uk + (us)), and the ability to trade forex, commodities, stocks, and warrants also the ability to link metastock or tradestation to the brocker for automatic trading.

Will this remain a wish, or will there be a stock brocker, (tdwaterhouse or co :cheesy: mdirect) that actually meets my criterea?

Hi ilia king, i think that most people on this site, myself included seem to use http://www.interactivebrokers.com/index.html they are well priced and offer most or all services, i believe you can run an automated system like tradestaion through them as there are several companies that offer the bolt on software, im sure there are a few traders on this site that can fill you in as to software needed to run an automated system through IB.

Thanks Mark, how would it be possible for me to link my Tradestation to IB or metastock to IB (I think I'v heard of a software called trade manager for tradestation)

I assume you are using TS2000I ? and if you are then you have 2 possibilities for doing this.

Either buy MetaserverRT for TWS from www.traderssoft.com

or go http://www.hypertrader.it/hserverl.shtml and scroll down to the bottom left of the page where it says "Download Hyperserver Lite" etc This one is FOC but not quite as good in my view.
