IB stops

I`ve been reading through IB " how to use " TWS , but cannot find instructions on entering a "stop"------ found trailing stop , stop limit . No doubt it is similar to these other two , but as it is important to get it right could someone help. Also could you mention how to cancel the stop after the trade has been concluded, assuming the stop was not used.
Very basic stuff! but if you don`t know, you don`t know!!!

When you click on bid or ask the type of order is displayed,click on the type of order and a box will drop down giving more options.

Once the order's in there is a C box to cancel. I always hit "cancel all orders" under the Order dropdown before exiting, just in case!
