I clicked that Barclays add and now I have problems

I installed their FX simulator. Now I can't remove it. Get the error:

Another application has exclusive access to the file
c:\documents and settings\Darren\application data\$_hpcst$.hpc
Please shut down all applications.

And I can't run Windows Media Player or any embedded WMP files in web pages. Says I have to reinstall. Did. Ran it. Says I have to reinstall.

Use the system restore. Take the computer back to the last checkpoint.

Bugger. Managed to do the system restore as recommended (thanks). Windows Media Player still doesn't work.
