This was discussed on CNBC this morning. Apparently they interviewed a grand total of 43 traders for their conclusive study. I wonder what the standard error on that sample was?

On a serious note, this poll could get way more than 44 traders, hence a better sample..we won't know who is more successful, but we'll know if more traders have excessive tesosterone... if that even is the case, it seems fairly tenuous to me.

Surely there's a bit of survivorship bias here? It sounds like long ring-fingered traders are able to take more risk, which should result in either great success or spectacular failure - if you don't test any failed traders, you can't really draw any conclusions. Also sample size...

That said, my ring finger is longer.

Heard this on the radio. I'm sure the guy said that this would only be of benefit to very short term traders, minutes and seconds, i.e, scalpers. My ring finger's longer, but I'm not a scalper. I'm doomed!!!
