The Hirose Team

It looks great.

does it?

demo..........

first trade...........requote!

thanks but no thanks[/QUOTE]

Als - good spot and thanks for bringing it to our attention. We saw the trade requote. We were testing an area of the demo platform when the trade went through which may have led to the requote. Just to clarify, this should not have happened. In the Live environment there should be vertually no requotes at all (even over figures).

Hmmm

Website Inception in Jan this year.

Office location is a virtual office in London - costing £80pm Serviced Office Austin Friars EC2 - Office Space - Business Centre - City of London

Hoggums,

I wish it was only £80 per month! What we are trying to do is keep costs down so we can pass on tight spreads to clients.

It may be prudent to clarify a couple of points also:
1. Hirose Financial UK is regulated by the FSA - as you probably know (and we can tell anyone who cares to listen) its a fairly major process to get regulated in the UK nowadays.
2. Hirose Financial is a wholly owned subsiduary of Hirose Tusyo Inc. of Japan which is one of the top 10 fx brokers in Japan and transacts over $40 billion a month. It has invested in and is building a businness for the long term.

The leverage for trading margined FX in Japan has been reduced to 25% earlier in the year. This has had a detrimental effect on the FX industry in Japan. What is the likelyhood of it happening elsewhere and how would it affect your trading? Would you go offshore or stick with a FSA registered broker?

time to branch out me thinks.
How is Hirose going to compete in this cut throat environment?

Hi Pear

well, for a start we don't take positions against clients but push trades out to the market; we also use innovative technology which allows us to offer really tight spreads. You can also trade Micro lots which is really useful for those new to trading FX and for testing out the platform in a Live enironment where a mistake will not cost you an arm.....or a leg.

We have had quite a few people asking about creating auto strategies. In brief the answer is yes, the platform provides for building, testing and trading strategies in real time. There is even a new Visual Strategy manager that allows you to create an algo without any programming skills.

I have had a good look around the platform. Credit where credit is due- -it seems user friendly enough. The Visual Strategy manager is quite interesting but a bit limiting.

Hi Pear - thanks for that - RE Visual Strategy - it is constantly being upgraded but for those new to trading or even if you want to test a strategy before commiting funds its a quick way to see what would happen. You then have the ability to properly program a strategy (with all the bells and whistles).

FYI Pear you can also download EAs / Strategies straight onto your platform to test or run in a live environment. The list of strategies is growing. For example if you wanted a basic EMA crossover strategy it is there. Just click on it to download into the platform.

we have had a lot of enquiries asking how we are able to offer such tight spreads. What we do is get liquidity providers (banks and other institutions) to provide their prices to us. We then take the best bid and the best offer and pass it on to our clients (and at the same time add a small spread).

We do not take positions ( client trades are STP) which means we can concentrate on offering a quality service. That is why any trading strategy that clients have is good for our platform, especially scalping strategies.

So from the FSA regulation aspect can you confirm that Clients are segregated and if so are they
protected from insolvency of Hirose. I am not indicating you are dodgy in any way but am interested to know how secure funds are!
