trading plan for the day
if that 2037 area pops/10220 area on dax....then trade the break. We have res areas marked to scalp out of
if no break....then we have pullback areas/supp to scalp in and out of
otherwise....we just keep fumbling ....lol
notice..yesterday..index took a hit after Morgan Stanley missed earnings

There is a very strong temptation to make the rather trite observation that today is the day after the 28th anniversary of "Black Monday", in so far as the data schedule is unlikely to trouble markets in any shape or form. The policy related schedule has a number of Fed, ECB & BoE speakers, but with the Fed heading into pre-meeting purdah ahead of the Oct 27-28 meeting and the ECB meeting on Thursday, fresh insights may be noticeable by their absence. Per se, the focus will once again be on US corporate earnings, and a brief reminder that at the beginning of Q3, earnings were expected to decline by 0.3%, but are now expected to decline 4.1%, and revenue expectations have been revised lower from -2.2% to -3.7%, with the energy sector clearly still a huge drag, with earnings expected to fall by 65% in Q3, while revenues are expected to decline 37%.
