goody, goody there's a bridge party downstairs tomorrow before
they swan off to their Christmas lunch. Might have to do the
butler bit with coffee and biscuits, but aside from that some
dedicated time at last!!!

It'll be swingers first - possible long continuation entries in dge,
wpp and barc if they go above todays highs, bp & shll have
changed intermediate trend to up and gus to down (I'll probably
wait for first reaction entry), mks has given short continuation
entry (will probably pass since closed recently). And a few
interesting candlesticks on support lines..... - hang on this is the
FTSE thread!!

Ah, yes ftse. The first long candle support has just about gone -
only 7 points but most of day well below - but there's that second
one at 319. That might get tested - I await with interest (still like
to see more volume, but mustn't be a bore!).

I am newbie to dax trading. In Nq trading I always watch SOX and in Es trading I watch Dow, BKX etc. I mean to see the divergence between them. Do you have any idea for Dax trading? Is it synchronize with other german indices?
Your input would be highly appreciated.

Thnx.

not sure why you posted that. This is a FTSE thread !.

morning all
this rally started off looking corrective ?
in the cold light of day, still looks corrective.
but it could go to 4360 perhaps.
anybody else got a target ?

Morning Bonsai

new to this thread, used to post on the one you don't like, occasionally.

I agree with 60 as max target, but think may be 49 may be it as 38% retracement from the high on Tuesday.

trouble is it all looks abit confusing at the moment . Ultimately I think we will break out upwards but I think we ought to correct downwards first.

Hi goostrey, welcome to t2w as I gather you have only recently joined.

you seem to have this sussed out so I gather you are a day trader ?

Could the fall from highs be wave 1 and and we are now in a corrective wave2...still a gap to fill Should I have said wave 1 of 3?:)

morning hooya
yes it could but that is part of the very negative count I posted yesterday. i.e 1 leg of 3 of 3.

(didnt think either of us fancied it very much ?)

To be honest not sure really, but I guess looking at my indicators at the moment there is a good possibility of a deep retrace for wave 2? Us futs arent looking too bad at the mo, although there is plenty of data out this afternoon. So should get a strong move in then afternoon

A bit of all sorts, from buy and hold at one end, to day trading at the other

yesterday bounced of trend line from 23/10 and 20/11
and now looking to see if it holds trend line from yesterdays lows.

hooya
dont ask me for wave counts on the Dow.
I gave up literally months ago.

Even the pros have screwed up on that.

Not the best index to learn on, imo

Is this of any interest to anyone ?

Next Chat Session:
Practice Trading After-Hours

Thursday, December 11th @ 4:30PM EST

Ever wanted to practice trading at your own pace and at your own time, just like pilots learning to fly in a flight simulator?

NeoTicker has introduced a new technology called Environment Simulation. It allows users to relive any moment of the market history and practice trading with an environment exactly like the one they will be monitoring in real-time.

Imagine replaying your favorite symbols (like Emini S&P, TICK, TRIN) in multiple charts, quotes, etc., while practicing to master your trading setups. Isn't that what all discretionary traders have been wishing for?

In our next chat session, Lawrence Chan of TickQuest will present a walk-thru of:

using quotes, charts, time and sales, etc. in the simulated environment.
practicing with trade execution in the simulated environment.
Join us for this discussion in the Elite Trader Chat Room on Thursday, December 11th @ 4:30pm EST. And as always, bring your comments for the question and answer period after the presentation.

See you there!
