'Freedom Rocks' Thread Disappeared

I wonder how this happened.I tried deleting a thread I started by deleting the first post and was unable to do so.How did 'TommyTurner' manage it?It's a pity as there would be a growing trail of these spammers who would have to start using multiple aliases that you could track and hopefully ban their IP address.

TommyTurner didn't manage it - I did.

However you should be able to delete a thread that you started, although there may be a time limitation on it - off the top of my head i'm not sure. Which thread is it?

IP's aren't a failsafe method of detecting multiple spammers unfortunately. For instance, did you know that your IP in particular is sometimes shared by up to 20 others, depending on the address which you are assigned on connection? This isn't the case for all ISP's - some are static. However if we were to ban you (not saying that we will of course ) then banning all your IP's would doubtless also ban the IP's of a good 30 other people.
