I am using TMT should I revert back to FMT?

My 8:45 NY, GU, sell trade hit BREAKEVEN
So Net result for today was a loss..

Hi everyone.. I am usually on the FTSE threads.. but thought you guys might be able to answer me a question... there is a euro/usd intraday option expiry today at 1.40.. any idea what time it expires??

In the future where can I go to get info on euro option expiries??

any help greatly rec'd

You were prudent to hold back, in spite of having a system to follow

Sadly it looks like FMT could be down as much as 185 pips in the month so far.

I notice the author has stopped updating his graph on the results page. He did promise he'd not hide bad results, although he didn't say how long it would take to display them. But I'll bet with you if the month was a winner it would be there on show as quickly as possible!

I don't like this 8:00 London this week, had 2 losses and a NT that would have lost. (6:15 not much better)
I am dropping it from live trading for rest of the week, funny because it was great during testing for last month...

so for rest of month I am just trading the NY times, they are still profitable..

the GU market and others are pretty crazy right now ...

There is no logical explanation why what used to work well no longer works, also today the NY trade might have been a short, where 45 wasn't enough leeway to stay in the trade after news came in 2:15 uk time and caused a 50 pip spike

It's a camel market isn't it! You never know what you're going to get!

Yes Hammy, I had 3 losses using the 08:00 London.

If you're dropping it for the rest of the month i will do the same

It's kind of the like the perpetual dog chasing it's tail. Day late and a buck (trade) short.

Constantly changing the system is great, except it's about 4 weeks too late. The system needs to work in all market conditions. By the time the settings change to the newest market conditions, the market has already left out the back door and on to a new house.

Haven’t been in here for a while.

I stopped trading this method in June, doesn’t work for me under these turbulent conditions.
I also traded another system very similar and that’s gone to the wall too.

It seems the only reliable methods are longer term, with wider stops.

usd/chf s/r on the daily over the last 4 mths, more reliable, but very boring

Because of the time change, during next week, we should set FMT time to:

8:45 NY, GU to 12:45 UK time
13:00 NY, EU 17:00 UK time

Is this correct?
