Here is the bookies favourite
- Sweden

rubbish

It's catchy and I like it on first hearing. Have to play it a few times.

After couple of hearings, makes one wish we didn't have so many heroes in our time. :cheesy:

Love the clip. Very clever. (y)

Now listening to some of the others. :)

Trick question and no googling please.

How many performers do you recall on stage at any one time in the Eurovision?

Have a guess based on your memory, visual recall. The number surprised me. :-0

Usually only 1 or 2 on the few vids I've seen so far.

8 pm tonight.

If there is an ABBA style song I'll be voting for that.

Yes perhaps for the ballads but not for pop ones. I seem to recall dozens dancing and prancing on stage.

Was very surprised to hear there is a limit of only 6.

yawn yawn
The Swedes won.
ABBA will be turning in their bath chairs I expect. Come back next year and win please ?

Not clear how final decisions are taken. I heard 50% public voting and 50% some judges. is there any audit by independent organization? I watched it and I thought the Latvia song was the best by far. Then it was Serbia and then UK.

I don't know about the judging.
The Austrians put on a good show with the stage and lights but........

Yes by PricewaterhouseCoopers who excluded the votes from Macedonia and Montenegro after irregularities in the voting ratio of jury to phone in voters.

I liked most of the songs this year. (y)

Not sure about all the bearded ladies though.

There are laser hair removal clinics for those kinds of conditions these days.

I'm wondering if there's any political agenda behind Eurovision, mainly because the songs are so bad. I mean, really, who watches Eurovision and says, "That was 2-3 hours well spent!"? Nobody. The songs are just horrible. It seems to me that the only people who want to compete in the Eurivision song contest are the ones who don't have any/much success on their own, and are look at Eurovision as a way of gaining a little more popularity.

Eurovision has the highest number of viewers per single event in the whole of Europe and with China also screening it for the first time and Australia it is likely to be one of the most watched events in the whole world.
