Has anybody heard of the above trading system for the Dow?
Its from a chap called Glyn Mass and he reckons is 96% accurate in predicting the moves of the Dow...
96% is quite a claim and unheard of...!!!
The web site is: http://www.dowtrader.co.uk
Please let me know your thoughts before I invest my hard earned cash.

Happy trading

Paulo

if this guy has 96% accuracy in prediciting the dow - i guess he must be charging 10 million or so for the secret

even so - could be a bargain!

but if hes charging less than 10 million - it might make anyone a bit suspicious of his claims

Does any of this mean anything to anyone

I think the point has been made by now!

Wow! only £297 and I can make over £30k from just £1k in 12 months. So the following year I should be closed to a million :) I better get my cheque book out, oh! and he offers a money back guarantee.

Strange though, this sounds like all the other offers I recieve. But he sounds oh so convincing.

I signed up to the free trial, he has sent me actual trades that he has made.

He has not been right once yet.

Also he says a price he buys at, and gives him limit price. To check if he is successfull you need to check at the end of the days to see if his entry and exit fit in with the days high and lows. Well! perhaps they do, but really you need to get the entry price before the exit price, because it doesnt work so well the other way round.

My guess would be he sends out two sets of emails, one with an up signal, one with a down signal. It is probably likely someone will have had success every time and will be reaching for his/her wallet. <--Stevet alerted me to this type of behaviour - i.e. 2 different signals to cover all eventuallities.

Doyne farmer is a well known Prof of maths and economic.. He was asked to design a trading system to predict the future a BIT .... He has been at it 10 years and still working on it...

Do a google search and read his work ..

I am amazed these people offer 70-80% edge with money back guarantee ( LOL) and get away with it..

Often the guarantees dont count for much. They are quite strict about the criteria - with this you have to make ALL the trades as he recommends - So far I would be down a considerable amount of money and probably would not continue.

If I didnt continue I have not forfilled the requirements to get my money back, if I continue I risk losing a lot more. So do I risk losing £1,000's to get back £300. Or just learn from experience, a bit poorer and a lot wiser.

I too signed up for his 'proofed trades' and after getting a sell signal timed at 12:34pm gmt for the DJIA index on monday 01/12(which incidentally rose by 116points that day,) I emailed to ask why he got it spectacularly wrong and he duly replied with some bull about him suspecting someone of pirating his system and therfore sending out false signals to put them off and weed them out, but normal service is now resumed as the culprit has been found out (phew! puts me in the clear then?!)

I mean honestly...................

I'll let you make your own mind up, but pm me if you need to know any more.

Anyone has any upto date info on this guy !??! I must have registered at his web site last yr, but keep getting news of teh trades that he has done !?! He has created a new web site ( dowdecoded.com)-

Sounds like a wierd method- looking at the statements he is trading the cash dow through D4f- the statements at least have the same format as D4f, because i trade through D4f and recognised the statements............

I have a feeling there is a conection between the way SB's quote the cash mkt and the future mkt...........!??

Anyway

Al

his website and writing style reminds me of a guy called Mug2k who posted/spammed on these boards.

its just the comedy phrases like this..

"My system is 96% accurate. This means that out of 72 trades there'll be 3 losses"

in other words, he has only done a backtest of 72 trades.

also, there is a download to a free Excel course.

i mean come on, this site screams amateurism.

FC

Yes i know what u mean,,,,,,,,,,, i have seen too many of these people........

thanks
Al

Anyone out there who has tried and tested this method ? This thread has been dead since 2005 !
I am sure there must be people around who have some info or bought this system ? Please let us have your feedback.

..... This thread has been dead since 2005 !...

I would suggest therein lies your answer because if it were that good then it would be a topic of ongoing discussion and clearly it isnt.
