Gold my butt

hey all

I do trade Gold occasionally but I am not a gold "nut" - as I prefer the liquidity of Forex using my FXcorrelator and derived indicators

Jees all I get is buy gold Buy gold in my Junk mail inbox.....

Everything I do is based around Price relativity...it allows me to track markets with an objective eye and see value based signals when they appear and be able to profit from them

So lets get real about Gold Shall we :smart:

here is a 500ma correlator chart and I have added Gold (in Violet/bold) and priced it RELATIVE to other Forex Currencies

so you are not Seeing Gold priced in US dollars , but as a stand alone "currency" - in the same vein as the other more familiar currencies shown

so what do you see.......?

I see about once in the last 4-5 months where gold moved more aggressively than comparitive currencies (mid may) - with NZD spookily still closely tracking Golds "miraculous" performance......(hmmm)

ok july's run north has been pretty good I'll admit , and once USD started to fall the Gold/USD went ballistic - Hence the recent hype...(and actually where I looked for trades as I look for USd's direction to oppose "Relative price" Gold to give the G/U trade a kicker)

So as I always say here ..............read beneath the Hype and do not repeat do not believe all you read :smart:

As others who follow me here know.... I am promising a website and services...

its just getting the time to do it alongside a full time job, family and my own trading activities.....

i've also been recently hampered by dissapointing programming support from commercial programmers which I continue to try to resolve and finalise some advanced indicators

hey - it will all get fixed in time

hey all

sorry no videos recently .........been busy on below !

I have decided to stop trying to get everything perfect (and temporarily abandon my advanced stuff lying on various programmers floors ) and just initially focus on a soft launch where I get the basics out there that gets newbies into what we do here (verses reading nearly 8,000 posts !! :whistling) and incorporate consolidated information re the 80/20 - plus some other interesting stuff I hope will be useful

yep.....a strong CHF is causing us all correlation chaos this morning

no real signals to speak of as CHF has stolen the pips we could have seen on the GBP or the Euro if the Yen/usd had fallen more

lets see if the US wake up call gets things more balanced :smart:

the Swiss goverment will start selling CHF soon i'm sure......I hate it when goverments intervene as that really screws up my Correlation movements generated my natural market pressure and conditions

their Big companies are really hurting on Exports being so strong believe me
