I currently have an account with IG Markets, I tried to short tesla yesterday but the trade wouldn't go through. It appears they have no shares left to borrow. I was informed they do not know when Tesla will be available for shorting.
Does anyone know a good broker I could possibly trade tesla (day trading) and hardly ever experience the above problem? Would a no dealing desk account be better for this?
Additionally any brokers that have better spreads than IG for US stocks especially tesla, amazon and alphabet group? I'm talking about the spread at the open (2:30).
